Náuticus is a very nice Naval museum covering much history of battleships and the Norfolk naval station. I would rate the museum a 5. But the restaurant in the museum is awful. The stuff from the steam table was cold. There appeared to be place to order from a variety of burgers and sandwiches. But it seemed to be closed.... More

It's included with the admission to the battleship Wisconsin on the 3rd floor. There is a lot of exhibits we really enjoyed the NOAA exhibits as we use there site a lot. IMAX shows are free so don't miss them. Great picture window if you'd like photos with the battleship.

Very interesting museum, with a lot to see. Also extremely educational. We had my mother and my two teenage children. Everyone found something to enjoy. And then the tour of the battleship Wisconsin. That was really great. There is really too much for a single visit. We will most likely return again.

Enough activities for the day but you don't have to do it all. We were not up to doing the harbor tour and the Battleship Wisconsin tour when we visited. It is still worth it to sight see and visit the free section, the Navy Museum. I was pleasantly surprised that the food at the cafe was good.

I thought this was kind of a mishmash of exhibits. I wandered around while husband and grandson were on the Battleship Wisconsin tour which is connected to the museum. There is a nice exhibit in the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. Then there is information on Jamestowne, a shark lab, a NOAA Exhibit, some other science exhibits, places where there are... More

On our family vacation we had the opportunity to tour the Nauticus museum and had a great time! We did the combo ticket with the cruise and upgraded to the engine room tour. If you want to do the engine room tour you need to book early. We had two families (7 people) and when we were done with the... More

Nauticus is a maritime themed science center and museum. It features hands-on exhibits including a horseshoe crab touch tank, shark lab, NOAA exhibits and a weather station. It also houses the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The USS Wisconsin, one of the largest battleship ever built is housed adjacent to Nauticus. It is also open for tours and has many volunteers... More
