Whether you are visiting with toddlers or teens there is something for everyone. the museum is informative and interactive. Be prepared to learn a lot and spend a couple of hours! There is a cafe on site with decent food or you can take your own and sit in the eating area.

A very nice naval history experience, set up to entertain both adults and children. There are many hands on displays, especially in the beginning, that are geared for kids, but as you advance, Nauticus is more for adults, delving into naval history wit displays and videos. Direct access to USS Wisconsin from the second floor.

We couldn't believe the size of this ship. The museum attached is very informative and well laid out.

No visit to Norfolk would be complete without a visit to Nauticus and the USS Wisconsin. If you are hungry or thirsty, Nauticus has two places to have a sandwich or a snack. If anyone has an interest in naval history, specifically WWII battleship history, this is the place to go. You can see a variety of equipment that was... More

Great museum with pieces of history! There's so much to see and quite a few activities to participate in as well! Awesome that you can actually go tour the ship as well.

Shopping restaurants and just a nice place to hangout on the waterfront in Norfolk. If you have time and want to do something different hit Waterside and relax or Shop.

I have visited a number of museum ships and Nauticus is as well done as any out there. The museum had decent displays with enough information and content to keep most kids intrigued. The ships is excellent condition and is a true gem. The only flaw in our visit was the cafe. Since we were there at lunch, we stopped... More

We visited the Museum for a 7th grade Field Trip. Wow! This place was very informative for the students and myself. I enjoyed the history lesson. We were able to board a "Decommissioned" ship that had been out to sea several times. It was huge - although we didn't have access to everything. We learned about the sizes of all... More

We spent five hours exploring this place. Our kids ages 2-9 had a blast touching and exploring everything! The battleship was amazing! We left the stroller in the car because the battleship is not stroller friendly but the museum did have elevators and a nice open feel. Also there are parking garages right across from it!

My 8 y.o. son and I had a blast learning about the USS Wisconsin, and it's contribution to our country. We spent about 5 hours at the museum! There so many exhibits, and interactive pieces, and the best of all was the self guided tour of the actual ship. We both got to pet a shark and learned interesting facts... More
