A pretty church outside and in but please dear god stop the bells ringing all night every night every 15 minutes. We all have watches in the 21st century.

This church is on the opposite side of the famous Trulli part of town, but really worth visiting. There is also a tiny tourist shop inside a Trulli close-by which seems somewhat original. I liked that.

The old part of Bari is a joy to explore on foot, narrow streets inhabited by locals and not crammed with tourists, there are so many delights to find around every corner. A must see.

Alberobello is the home of the trulli which is walking distance from the centre but it is lovely in itself. Market day appeared to be Thursday. It's worth parking up (free and metered parking available throughout. Free are white lines and blue are metered) and taking a wander before heading for the trulli. Just a note- watch out for satnav round here as ours sent us down some ridiculously tiny streets that were only a few inches wider than the car.
