Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Two adults and two young kids really enjoyed the whole experience. Lovely accessible gardens, tasty/healthy/vegetarian café, and interesting/fun little museum/visitor center all in the same spot. Very friendly staff in the café and lovely volunteer staff in the museum which is free. It's a real credit to the local council who seem to have funded and developed this destination. Well done to all involved.

A wonderful place to visit for everyone especially young families- an interactive museum, on the site of a monastic tower, telling the story of a monastic settlement and the arrival of the Vikings to Dublin, also some local cottages restored to how they would have been a century ago, and all set in beautiful gardens and a vegan cafe with great coffee

This place is a gem out of the beaten track. Peaceful small cascaded garden with medicinal herbs, lots on benches to have your coffee or enjoy a book. Safe ground for small kids-no cars, bicycles or dogs. The Tower is magnificent and one of a kind so well preserved. Free entrance and tours.
The Happy Pear famous vegan cafe is on the site- it is cozy with tasty food and especially healthy sweets.

We are right into historic buildings and architecture when we travel and this was a great surprise to find when we were looking for the local shops close to our hotel right in the middle of all the housing and a shopping center surrounding it..

Have to say this exhibition is really good. Its very interesting well laid out and not history overload either. Kids loved finding Milly the mouse in every room plus all the other things aimed at children kept them amused which made it a lot more plesant to go around. The happy pear cafe is also there but we did not have time to sit down and enjoy it. The gardens which lead out to the original round tower are beautifully done. Great time there on a sunny day. Oh and the best thing is its completely free which is a rare thing these days
