this is a great place to see and learn about local flora, fauna, and ecology. There are activities and displays for toddlers to adult, with special play and hands on things for all. check their calendar for special events. there is also a small planetarium

Second time I have been there. Impressed with their exhibits and hand on opportunities. My granddaughters loved the recent automated dinosaur exhibit. Definitely worth the drive from Williamsburg area attractions. Animals and wildlife always a plus with children.

Wonderful family adventure! Our grandchildren love this place, and so do we adults. Repeat visits are called for with the Dinosaur Exhibit still on display!

I’ve been before and still a great day out in VA. Enclosures are well maintained. Lots of seating around the attractions. It can get hot walking around so my advice would be to visit in the morning during summer. Large range of animals.

We love the museum. Wish the water was cleaner in the outdoor exhibits....but the inside pools are very nice.

Alex is incorrect. It’s $20 a person, 0-2 is free, 3 and up is $13. If you are military, have triple A or are 65+, you can get a $1 off admission.

I would definitely go during the summer. I would suggest that it might be less crowded in the morning and on a week day.
