I'm not an aficionado of military history, but I do love American history. This place appears deceptively small from the outside, but they have made maximum use of the space - so many artifacts (many of them genuine) dating all the way back to the...More

This museum covers many generations of history. There is a gift shop and free parking. It is located near the water so bring a lunch and enjoy! The military discount saves soldiers $1 off the regular $8 admission.

My wife and I love historical museums. We didn’t expect much from this humble looking obviously military structure, but it was packed with memorabilia, articles, and artifacts from every war we have ever fought. We spent 3 hours. Well worth it.

A little disappointed by the lack of history untold in this museum. They need to step up their game, tell it like it was!!

The exterior of the building looks small and uninteresting. However, once inside there is an amazing collection of military items ranging from the pre-Revolutionary days all the way up to present day. We spent about an hour and only scratched the surface. There are not...More

This museum has many one of a kind weapons like the stinger and both the semi-automatic and full automatic Johnson rifles from WWII. BUT the small space makes the collection somewhat convoluted and it is difficult to maintain chronological order. Explanations are sparse, rarely giving...More
