Sept 2017 These caves were found by two young boys hunting rabbits in the late 1800s, and were developed for tourism in 1920 with the addition of electricity to light the way through many tunnels and caverns that are seeming endless. The tour lasts around...More

We stayed at the campground for 5 nights and had the most amazing time! We camp regularly in the western part of VA and this campground is hard to beat. The sites are nice and spacious with lots of lush landscaping. The pool is nice...More

These caverns were one of our favorites in the area, but not number one. Formations are terrific. Guide was fine, but failed to see any of the three who slipped and fell while on the tour. Many dark, slippery places in the caverns. No one...More

Researched caverns to visit while staying at massanutten. This one seemed less commercial. 75 minute tour, $20 each per adult, $ 9 per kid. Great tour and some spectacular scenery. Bring your own small flashlight and a jacket as caves are 55 degrees.

Of all the caverns we have visited, we liked this one best. Our guided tour was led by a genuine spelunker, and it had a great gift shop for our daughter. It is also just a short walk up the hill from Rosendale Inn.
