Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum is located in an old locomotive shed from 1899 right next to the train station.
In 1998, the old roundhouse was converted into an art museum with respect to the building's history.
The exhibitions are mostly photographic art. On our visit, there was Stefan Bremer's exhibition Velocity.

I love this small museum with very good exhibition, especially those focused on photography. It's a museum which can be visited max in 1 hours unless you start dreaming next to art. That what makes it so nice. Good exhibition, leaving you energy to do something else, instead in big museums.
Once again good exhibiotion of Herb Ritts's photos.

This gallery is located in and old locomotive shed which provides a beautiful ambience. At present the Ester Helenius exhibition is an absolutely "must visit" if you are in the Salo region. The paintings are from 5 decades and very impressive. Remember to take the headphones and listen to the comprehensive history.

I cannot understand how they do this. How can they get these famous well known artists to exhibit in such a small town like Salo? Amazing job from the administration and I'm happy about that. Also this time it was worth the 2-hour drive to visit the museum and the exhibition of Nick Brandt.
Most of the people think that the exhibition was excellent and use all possible superlatives to describe it. Well, I'm not one of them. I think that the exhibition is great and definitely worth visiting but to me it was a bit disappointing also. It also initiated some new thought-processes so that is a value in itself already to visit it.
The museum has excellent space to organize great exhibitions. Would be nice to exhibit there myself :)

I saw the incredible Nick Brandt photography exhibition (produced by the Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm) in Veturitalli. Good job Salo getting exhibition this great to your premises! Very friendly staff, perfect location for this moving exhibition, incredibly cheap entrance fee. Good job altogether. Will definitely visit again.
