After several years living in Belgium I always hesitated visiting the small city of Durbuy, thinking that it might not be worth the trip (240km route in total). And I was so wrong for not going there before! Even if it is indeed very little, the old city center, with stone made houses, flowered balconies and narrow cobblestone streets give... More

Everythig in this town was nicely kept to its old origins, little interesting shops , nice restaurants ..only problem is that everything closes very early..by 9 o'clock in the night everything is closed, you have to go back to your hotel...

Everything in Durbuy is charming and well-cared, locals are polite and friendly, also I felt like I was back in time in the middle age, local shops made in stone, so so beautiful, there is a lot to see and I am definitely coming back!

Worth the short walk in the smallest town of Europe...Quite turistic, it never has lost its charm and beauty.

Narrow streets with shops are nice, a lot of tourists. Christmas market has little to do with Christmas. Take cash with you, long line at ATM. It' s not my favorite town to visit.

Without access to the castle what is the point of visiting a castle town? It was an incredibly touristy kitsch village with more restaurants and tourist shops than houses. Worth a quick walk round but nothing more than that.

Last 5 years we go for Xms market in nice city of Durbuy. Lively market, many nice small shops, many nice places to enjoy the drink or meal. In summer you can take a bike or do a nice trekking. The only minus is parking!

Durbuy is an interesting little place... for about an hour! It is very crowded and hot in the summer. Lots of traffic constantly through the middle of the town. We did have a great sandwich though, at the Boucherie Bodson (which has a peering pig at the window)!

It's a nice region around Durbuy, a little small town in the dreaming nature of the Ardennes, where are many excellent restaurants , nice little shops, nice cafes for a cold belgian beer or a good glass of wine. I think the river is l'Ourth, tourists love this region for the fresh air of the Ardennes, the wonderful walks, especially... More
