Positioned between the center of Granada and the Malecon, the Guadalupe Church is worth the walk. The white limestone exterior is haunting in its simplicity, and the interior is captivating. Fun fact: the building was used by Filibuster William Walker during his campaign in Nicaragua.

Again, if you are interested in history or architecture, you should take a walk in. It's close by and worth the time.

For US$1, you climb a circular stairway to the top of the tower for a spectacular view of Granada! Worth it, and the church itself is has stunning murals and statuary.

This is my favourite church in Granada. I have no idea why. It sums up the whole central American feel once you look at it. worth taking a look and deciding for yourself.

Love this old church close to the lake. I finally was able to enter and it is very pretty although plain. It feels like a welcoming place.

This church is nice inside, but I like it better from the outside. It is showing its age, but in a cool way with plenty of old-world type colonial charm.
