A nice walking avenue. Many restaurants and hotels are closed but still it is fascinating to look at the people passing by. There are restaurants worth of visiting. Oshean's is an Irish pub and pretty popular even in the afternoon.

Once you get to Granada, the first thing to do is to go to La Calzada...everything is there, music, food, drinks, shops, hotels, accommodations, cathedral, Central Park. You can walk from Central Park to theMalecon, the beach without leaving La Calzada.

Along the avenue you can find several very nice restaurant & bars, and other bussiness. We found a PUPUSERIA!!! which was great. Prices are affordable and place is really safe for walk around.

This is the place to go if you want to be around other tourists. There are heaps of restaurants, but they don't seem very local/authentic--and the prices are definitely higher than other areas in town. I will say that it's easy to book tours here...More
