laxman jhula is must visit if you are in Rishikesh. Crowded place always with tourists. This is hanging bridge used to cross river Ganga. Amazing experience crossing this bridge and good ganga river view.

Hold on tight to all the goodies in your hands so no monkeys take it and walk your way across the large suspension bridge to see the other side of the river. Watch rafts float below and feel the slight sway of the bridge.

A suspended bridge with great views but walk across carefully be ready to encounter cows , motorists on this bridge. Amazing Engineering skills. A marvel to experience wherein with so many footsteps it still stands head strong..A must visit

It is too crowded. Two wheelers are allowed on this narrow bridge makes it messy. Nevertheless it has beautiful view of river Ganga.

The place could really be the world heritage and could be the international tourist attractive if the Administration could be proactive. It is really true sense of "Incredible India"! It's a cable strewn hanging pedestrian bridge (used by two wheelers too) across the Ganga river. Commissioned in the 1930s, Lakshman Jhula is built where it's said Lakshman performed penance for his killings in the Lanka... More

It's an average walking bridge that gets very crowded with people, mopeds and cows. It is the best way to cross the river but nothing special.
