We went for a Song of the Mountains concert and taping for PBS. This theatre is about 100 years old and beautifully restored. I understand that it is one of only 2 Mayan theme theatres in the country; and worth the visit just to see the theatre. Carson Peters and his band were great and another bluegrass band was just as good so really good entertainment. They had been closed for 10 months because of the pandemic so was great to see the first live performance in 10 months. Lincoln Theatre has about 500 seats, but were only allowed to sell about 130, and due to a snow the crowd was more like 100 I think. Everything was great.

Was here for Songs of the Mountains taping. Had awesome front row seats. The seats were kind of tight but comfortable. Good acoustics.

This was our second visit to the “Historic Lincoln Theater”. We enjoyed it even more than the first time. We went for a “Song of the Mountains” show. The show is filmed for PBS and features an ever changing cast of musicians. The theater has been fully restored and is filled with eye popping color. The host, is Tim White is personable and welcoming. We have felt welcomed and comfortable both times we plan to go again. If you stay a couple of doors down at the General Francis Marion Hotel, you never need a car.
