Try to see a VMI parade on Fridays at 4:15 pm. The VMI Museum is well worth a visit, too. It's on the lower level of Jackson Memorial Hall and has on display Stonewall Jackson's horse, Little Sorrel.

Go when the cadets are on parade and enjoy their marching band and bagpipe band, or enjoy an occasional choral concert. Explore the historical sites and collections. Learn about the participation of cadets and graduates in so many of the nation's wars.

We were visiting the Lexington Visitors center and the attendant told us about the Pass in Review starting in an hour. We made the 15 minute walk and were glad we did. The parade was wonderful. It gave us renewed hope in our young people.
