We really enjoy Frying Pan Park. You can go see baby animals, buy fresh eggs and gifts at the shop, and there are horse events and farm tours depending on the schedule. The nearby Visitors Center has a neat little museum display about farm life, and there are concerts like bluegrass groups from time to time. It's educational, well kept... More

So, we went here with the grandkids and had fun walking around looking at the farm animals, especially the baby pigs. The working merry go round was a hit, and bathrooms were clean. Picnic table by the playground made us wish we'd brought our own lunch.

This is the last working farm left in Fairfax County. Do you love horses? This is the place to take your children to see them in action from farm work to dressage. Lots of events

This is a very nice park located in suburbia. Nature trails for hikers, nothing lengthy or strenuous, good for dog walks! Horses, horse related events, and stables. Farm animals for families with young kids - our kids loved it there when they were young. Live music on Thursday evenings in the summer. Farm market weekly in summer. Events held. Just... More

Every time we pass the farm I hear "Can we please go to the farm." We've been there so many times I think I know all the animals names. Even with all the baby animals being born there all the time. I would definitely stop by if you live nearby or are visiting Northern Virginia. Great place to see animals,... More

What kid doesn't like animals, merry-go-rounds and tractor rides. This is a nice place to spend a few hours. I'd recommend starting with a tractor ride for all to get the lay of the land. This is not a zoo so animal contact is limited and there is no feeding. Nice Country Store where we bought Cherry flavored Apple Cider.

The park is a working Fairfax County farm complete with many animals. Events cener and very large outdoor pavilion. The park offers camps and programs for school age children and preschoolers. 4H fair is held there every August, Great park to walk and play with dogs.

We purchased our home in a neighborhood adjacent to Frying Pan Park back in the early 90s. Little did we know that his place would end up as our regular weekend hangout spot. Incredible for all ages either free access to farm animals and walking trails. We've been walking our dogs there for years. Many horse show events as well.
