Nestled amid single family homes with offices and condos located not very far, this park offers peace and tranquility when someone needs a break. The park is neither large nor small, and provides good walking opportuninty in mornings and afternoons. Recommended.

Thank you, csserious, for taking the time to comment about Frying Pan Farm Park. It is an oasis in suburbia! Although it has 135 acres, it feels accessible and cozy, great for walkers, dogs, and families. Come by for more fun soon.

This is a working farm that you can visit. Kids learn about farming and animals. There is also a carousel that the kids can ride for a minimal price. My grand kids love visiting here.

This is a nice outing for a romantic lunchtime outing with your significant other. It is a farm of course so you need to take the necessary outside precautions.

A nearby stream is still called Frying Pan; the small area around it took on the name as well. The origin of the name of the stream is unknown, although it may relate to the copper mining that went on in the area.
