This was a lovely, informative tour for the whole family. Geological and civil war history. We were on the tour for about 70 min. Lots of walking, so stairs. A bit of exercise and learning while you are on family vacation.

It's beautiful and non-commercialized with a grand ballroom for dancing. See if you can find the fried egg formation in a comfortable 54 degree cave.

I love visiting caverns and have visited a number of them in several states. This was one of my favorites. The formations were fabulous and the guide was terrefic. Our tour guide spoke clearly and loudly enough for all to hear. The guide did an excellent job and was glad to answer any questions. I would recommend the caverns to... More

Awesome place! Staff very friendly and informative. Price to get in very good. 70 minute tour, wished it could have been longer but they like to take one group at a time and take their time explaining things. A must see!!

A surprise find during our visit to Virginia. Easy to get to, reasonably priced and a great tour. Try this for a break from the wineries, breweries and history tours.

We visited the caverns while vacationing at Massanutten. We chose Grand over Luray because we had heard that although Luray is quite large, it is also very touristy and commercialized. We are so pleased with our choice. We had an early afternoon tour and our guide was Whitney. First of all, Whitney is fantastic!! There were only 4 people in... More

Awesome tour. The temperature was great for me. The skinny girls found it to be cold. About 1.5 mile round trip.

I had no idea what to expect. Our guide was Tyler who is entering his senior year in high school. He was a wonderful and very mature guide for a 17 year old. The cavern was incredible with a multitude of geological formations. Tyler knew all of the formations. Well worth the time to visit in the wonderful commonwealth of... More

The park is large and has many activities for families, large picnic areas for groups, covered areas with electric. Playgrounds, volley ball, miniature golf, swimming pool, walking trails. The cave is one of the biggest we have been to. Many unusual formations. easy walking inside approx. 1 1/4 miles but you first have to walk up a hill and you... More
