Interesting store and good selection of alpaca yarns and finished apparel. The owners are happy to talk of the venture and the alpacas. The alpacas graze the scenic pastures behind the store. Convenient location in sight of the parkway

This is probably the cutest place on earth. We were staying in the area on the way home from a motorcycle trip down the BRP, and decided to take a nighttime ride. We parked in a turn off near the farm and just watched the alpacas for hours. I haven't visited the farm itself to purchase wool or anything but... More

The appearance of the outside of the store was trashy looking. The animals cute. Lot of ship in products, few hand made by owner.

We just happened upon this lovely farm and fell in love with the owners as well as the alpacas. Friendly and welcoming to all of us, particularly to my elderly parents. It was the highlight of our trip. Later my parents wrote and ordered me a calendar with alpacas featured every month. Family favorite.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peaceful Heart farm. The owner was very friendly and answered our numerous questions about alpacas. He summoned them to us with a food bucket so we were able to pet them and feel their fleece. They are such friendly, adorable animals. There were two babies still nursing, which was a bonus!... My husband and I decided to visit the farm as I have always wanted to have the opportunity to pet an alpaca, because they are so adorable. We used the GPS directions which took us via Exit 1 off of Highway 52 as we were coming from Mount Airy. Let me just say that that route is not for the... More

We didn't even go into the farm, but just watched the baby alpacas from the Parkway one misty evening. It was magical. The alpacas are so adorable, gentle, and calm. The landscape is surreal with rolling pastures and mountains in the distance. Even after traveling up and down the entire BRP, this was one of my favorite stops of the... More

Throughly enjoyed the visit while learning about alpacas. They have a store inside which sells items such as purses and socks that were made from alpaca fur.
