The Pozer Garden in the middle of Fairfax City is ennervating & restful. It'w most exciting when the visiting bands play there--free to all. Nearby, the Ratcliffe-Allison House gives you a view of what life was like when the City was in infant stages.

The Kitty Pozer garden has undergone a major renovation in 2015, and now features a lovely splash pad that young families have been enjoying almost every day. It's a wonderful, free, gathering spot for parents to relax while their children play, and free onsite parking is a plus too! Once a month there is a free concert and block party,... More

If you are going on the Fairfax walking tour, do stop in and see this house during its open hours. Gives a fine feel for the history of the town. Start your tour at the Fairfax Museum and Visitor's center.

This house gives you a look into what daily life was like in the early 1800s. The main part -- a one room dwelling includes furnishings and implements from that time period and you can also see later additions to the home dating to the early 1920s.
