I have now attended a ballet (the Moscow Ballet), a musical (Taj Express), and an acrobatic-circus type event (Cuisine & Confessions) at the GMU Center for the Arts. This facility is easy to get to and park (parking is free in Lot K if you don't mind walking outside a short distance; paid covered parking is available for $8 right... More

Yes, the lack of a center aisle is a hassle for seating and could be dangerous in an emergency. That said, the venue is otherwise very nice, with wonderful acoustics and sight lines. I've never had a bad seat. Eclectic mix of shows each season, and the prices are much more reasonable than larger D.C. venues. Great asset here in... More

By offering a wide variety of performances the Center for the Arts provides current venues of popular classical and pop entertainment. A real plus for Northern Virginia and DC metro area residents, and others.

A really nice theater in central Faifax. Nice facility. Comfortable. Easy parking. Easy access. They could use better acts and attractions. And their marketing is poor. But if you like what they are showing, you will have a good evening.

We enjoyed seeing a performance of the Vienna Boys Choir here this month, however, the venue was pretty average. Performance space is plain and does not stand out in any way. Small bathrooms on main floor meant long lines at intermission for men and women.

Have been to many events here over the years from Classical Music to Opera to British Military Bands. The room is exquisitely designed: never had a bad seat regardless of where I was sitting or the nature of the event.

This is an excellent venue on the George Mason University campus for plays, concerts, dance recitals, etc. Excellent site lines and acoustics

Over the past few weeks I have attended two performances. First was the ballet, Giselle. The first half of the performance was much longer than the second half. But we enjoyed the performance. The second was Flying Dutchman in German. In the upper balcony the translation is partially blocked by the lights. They should look into lowering in a few... More

This is on the campus of George Mason University and brings renowned performers and shows into an intimate theater. My wife and I have seen several presentations here over the past few months. The quality of the performances is great. We saw Swan Lake performed by the Russian Ballet this past weekend. The dancing was very good (I am not... More
