So quite & peaceful. Looking at the main made lake and hiking are abundant! Country stores and fresh produce during peak season.

Right on Buggs Island Lake, Occoneechee State Park is beautiful, sparsely populated and excellently maintained. It is an outstanding resource for boaters, picnickers, hikers. Appropriate for: individuals or groups; those who appreciate the chance to enjoy the outdoors; and even those who want to unplug.
