We like to hike here occasionally for some quiet, family time.
We have camped in the past and it’s a very nice campground with spacious sites.
The Visitor Center is interesting and there are lots of kid activities in the summer.
We have visited many state parks in VA and this one is near the top. The rangers and staff are outstanding.
There is a spray park for kids, boat rentals, fishing and more. Bring your kayaks and bikes. Lots of trails for hiking, too.
