We like to hike here occasionally for some quiet, family time. We have camped in the past and it’s a very nice campground with spacious sites. The Visitor Center is interesting and there are lots of kid activities in the summer.

This State Park has many trails along with attractions that explain the history of Occoneechee Indians. The gift shop has many items and there is also a new sprinkler park for the little ones.

We where there for a church picnic. The pavilion was nice and clean and close to the restrooms. They where clean, also. Would use it for an event if I need it. The park ranger was very helpful. It was quiet.
