Several overnight stays there in the past. Each was amazing. Comfortable accommodations, great hiking, knowledgable staff and loved everything about it, especially the views of the lake.

We like to hike here occasionally for some quiet, family time. We have camped in the past and it’s a very nice campground with spacious sites. The Visitor Center is interesting and there are lots of kid activities in the summer.

This State Park has many trails along with attractions that explain the history of Occoneechee Indians. The gift shop has many items and there is also a new sprinkler park for the little ones.
