Went out here the other day and played 2 rounds at the Palmer Course. The Nicklaus course was closed for aeration. This is my second trip to this place and it was a fun course. You are out on the bay so wind will always be a factor. The fairways had not greened up yet but the ball sat up... More

I have played the Palmer and Nicklaus courses at Bay Creek several times over the years and think they are two of the toughest, most beautiful courses I have ever played. Yes. If you are a 20 handicap or above you are going to score high on these courses. Especially the Nicklaus course. Don't cry about it. Enjoy the beautiful... More

I'm astounded that the members haven't drawn & quartered the groundskeeper. Their Bermuda rough is kept so long that one bounce out of the fairway results in an extensive search. The ball disappears below the surface of the rough, and can't be found without a tremendous amount of effort. In the era of pace of play concerns, this is an... More

I've played both courses and absolutely love this place! It can be challenging if the winds are up, but it is always beautiful. The clubhouse had great food too.

Both courses are fantastic. Private club vibe. If you've played a Nicklaus and Palmer course you know Nicklaus makes em tougher. This place is no exception. From the tees Jack's course is visually intimidating but there is more room to hit your shot than you think as you'll see when you get out to hit your second shot. Arnie's is... More

This was the second year in a row that we have played at the Bay Creek Golf club. We have a "Mancation", because it is just the guys, and we played the Palmer Course last year and the Nicklaus this year. We are a group of about 14 guys that usually dress in some loudmouth type of attire : ).... More

Enjoy beautiful water views from most holes on the Arnold Palmer course. The course was in excellent shape. We enjoyed playing some very challenging holes, but not as challenging as the Jack Nicklaus course. The employees were very friendly and provided outstanding service. Our only complaint was the disappointing practice putting green. Otherwise, we enjoyed a gorgeous day on the... More

We played the Palmer course. They also have a Nicklaus course. Great views, totally challenging, excellent condition, top notch carts excellent service. Kinda in the middle of nowhere but if you are in Williamsburg or Norfolk, Virginia Beach area it is a must play for any golfer. Imho a TOP 100 course in USA. I've played a few. Best in... More

Great golf courses. The Palmer course made me feel like a pro. I struggled on the nichlaus course, but it was equally, if not prettier than the Palmer course. I will definitely come back again.
