This is a beautifully kept old world plantation site. The the flower gardens and assorted fruit trees are beautiful in the spring and summer. It is also a beautiful location for a wedding venue.

A one day stay in Blacksburg. Chose to visit Smithfield Plantation. It was a leisurely tour with very knowledgeable tour guides. Beautiful grounds. Glad we chose that as our one and only activity. Would highly recommend it.
