From local residents to tourists, the Green Mountain Coffee(R) Cafe and Visitor welcomes all guests to the Historic Waterbury Train Station. After a complete refresh of the interior in the summer of 2016, the landmark uniquely celebrates Green Mountain Coffee and the great state of Vermont. Adorned with photography taken by employees during the company's annual Employee Source Trips to coffee growing regions, visitors are invited to wander through the rich, 35-year history of Green Mountain Coffee(R), take part in hands-on education about specialty coffee and the roasters' award-winning coffees, and enjoy one of the staff's coffee creations in the lounge, from artfully pulled espresso to decadent Pecan Pie Supreme. The Cafe is also the only retail store where visitors can find rare Green Mountain Coffee(R) blends like Tanzanian Gombe Reserve, and also mix-and-match their own variety packs from 48 different Green Mountain Coffee(R) K-Cup(R) pod varieties in the Keurig(R) Singles kiosk.

We tasted some different coffees than we can get at home but then couldn't buy them in the store. Also, not much is offered in the way of 'cafe' food. We did get a good lunch recommendation.

Visited several times in the morning during our stay in the area. Waitstaff was pleasant, coffee good and the ability to sit outside and enjoy the coffee and pastries was relaxing.

It's a nice spot to try free coffee but it doesn't really have the interactive tour display that it claims to have. Kinda lame overall.

This is really a coffee shop located inside of a restored train station. The coffee is great and you can sit either inside the building or outside on the porch. There is a small display discussing the history of coffee but I wouldn't necessarily consider...More

Dropped in here briefly and sampled done if the coffee. There is a great little coffee shop with good prices and tourist information available. I would suggest a visit here at the start of a stay in Waterbury.

We loved the whole atmosphere inside the old railway station converted into the coffee centre. Awesome smell of brewing coffee inside and so many types to choose from. Must visit for all coffee lovers

We stopped here while in the area and wanting a quick afternoon drink. The staff was very friendly, and I liked the fact that they were big on recycling everything. They had a bunch of educational stations around that you could read about Green Mountain's...More

Stopped in here to stock up on K Cups. Prices and selection were decent. One negative experience - Had a box of pods in my hands and the shop employee came up to me, said they were more expensive than the regular selections. She then...More

What a lovely find it was to stumble across this coffee barn! The barn itself caught my eye and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the coffee is actually ground and distributed here. The attendants were kind and friendly and the coffee was amazing...More
