The American Ski Company and assorted past owners have done their best to doom the Sugarbush resort to failure in past lives. Win Smith however has resurrected this classic New England ski area to well beyond any of its former greatness and is well positioned...More

I've been coming to Sugarbush for years and love this place. Sugarbush has a ton of terrain between the two mountains, and they do an incredible job with the terrain parks too. On clear days, the views from up top are epic. Staff is friendly...More

We've skied Stowe several times and love it but decided to try Sugarbush this year. The weather was awful for a day or two but the people were great and upbeat. We checked out Mt Ellen which is a really lovely mountain - bit of...More

The mountain is a gem for family skiing - varied terrain but not so big that groups can't easily find each other. I knew to expect a modest (not too-developed) mountain so I appreciated it's straightforward New England charm and low key family fun. However,...More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're glad you enjoyed the mountain, though disappointed to hear about your Ski & Ride School experience. Our Ski & Ride School prides itself on customer service, so to hear this is a surprise for...More

Sugarbush is my favorite east coast resort. It's well maintained, the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere of the mountain is great, and they do a great job keeping everything going well when it is busy- although I find it to be a...More

Sugarbush is filled with friendly wonder Vermont staff, new nice buildings, and great trails. I wouldn't recommend this mountain for a beginner, there isn't too much easy terrain, but for anyone from the intermediate to the advanced this is it. Sugarbush offers great deals for...More

Rock on Kelsey! Thank you for your great review. As a note to your beginner terrain comment, we do have several areas designated for beginners as well as a Ski & Ride School dedicated to teaching all levels, especially beginners. We hope to see you...More

Sugarbush is not a cheap mountain to ski, stay or eat, but I would make the argument that the price is worth it. Between Mount Ellen and Lincoln Peak, there are lots of options for all levels of skiers. Easy beginner areas, groomed blue squares,...More

Went with a group of friends, and this is a huge place, really two resorts in one. Tons of great long winding trails, challenging off-trail experiences and a great little village at the base, definitely worth the trip.

Sugarbush is in the Mad River Valley and one of the most beautiful of ski areas. Wide variety of terrain. Nice lodges and they do a good job making snow.

Thank you for your review. It was certainly a tough Christmas, terrain-wise, but we've been 100% more than any other major East Coast resort this year. I'd encourage you to come back when we have more terrain open! John

Seems like a large quantity of rentals. The mountain is really all about attracting people and I think they would be able to help you with whatever your looking for! Enjoy.
