This is a wonderful award winning attraction in Stowe, Vermont. It is a paved path stretching 8.5 km (5.3 miles) that is open all year round, winding through the town, through woods, by the water, parallel to the Mountain Road and amenities. You can walk, hike, bicycle, blade, cross-country ski, snowshoe and start and stop at any point along the... More

Love this long scenic path in both summer and winter. One can head north to go out into the open country with many bridges over the Little River and ends just beyond the Mountain Ops ski shop. The other end goes right into the quaint Stowe Village behind the church.

We had an absolutely great time walking and biking on the Stowe rec path. It's a beautifully maintained path that runs from town up mountain road through some really nice scenery. You have cross over rivers and go through wooded areas and open fields. It's quite a nice activity for exercise or a nice relaxing walk!

Very nice walking/running/non-motorized trail. Lots of twists and bends. Open fields. Peaceful trail!

This walking path was enjoyable but it didn't really offer any amazing views or anything. Worth taking a stroll but it's not the best thing Stowe has to offer.

I walked into the Rec Path with my boyfriend and walked out with my fiancé! Hard to not have a biased opinion after that experience! The path is beautiful, especially when completely covered in snow. We took a walk after lunch when it had started snowing. It was very picturesque and charming. Would definitely recommend!

This is a popular path, second only to Burlington's. Despite the climb it is well designed with gradual pitch. It has 10 bridges and at the top is a historic covered bridge. There are dozens of pull offs so you can stop for a snack, lunch or dinner. In fall, there is a corn maze to entertain as well. Well... More

The path is well maintained and is perfect for a walk around the Stow area, they path is an in and out that is 5ish miles in and the same out. The path passes shops and farms for chances to stray :)
