The whole new resort area is very nice - a number of condos surrounding the resort. Easy access via Gondola to the mountain for skiing. A very nice restaurant and bar area in the hotel.

We took auto toll road at Stowe. It may hard for people who didn't drive on steep roads earlier but it's not that difficult too. The drive is awesome during fall season. There are many on your way to the top of the mountain to...More

We went on President's day weekend, which we would probably not do again as it was very crowded. The equipment and lift tickets process was easy online. The gondola rides between Mt Mansfield and Spruce Peak were fun. We did feel a bit disconnected because...More

Picked a bad day to go. Didn't mind the crowds as it was a holiday weekend but the views were all obscured by the fog. Nothing to be done about that. But the services at the top were pathetic. Too many people and not enough...More

My kids and I loved hiking Whiteface and Mt. Washington cuz we could get a ride back down with my wife who drove to the top and picked us up. Is that possible to do at Mt. Mansfield?

Maybe in the summer but not in the winter, but there is always the gondola... they have winter hikes in the snow, just call the adventure center in the base village.

The gondola takes you to the top of the mountain slowly and takes about 15 minutes to get to the top. I was surprised at how steady the ride is. However once you reach the top, we did get off rather quickly, although as... More
