Located in the Mount Mansfield State near Stowe. This is the highest mountain in Vermont. There are many hiking trails and this is especially beautiful during the foliage pearl season.

You must take the tram ride to the top of the mountain and enjoy lunch on the outside deck for the panoramic view. Those with strong hearts can take the zip line down the mountain.

It's a trek up a narrow gravel road which can be tricky when you meet another vehicle, and you will meet another vehicle, but it's doable. It's pretty and offers some good views, but nothing particularly breath-taking. Probably awesome for the serious hiker. Glad We...More

Went up the mountain in the Gondola, About a 10 minute ride and had great views both going up and down. Had lunch at the top outside and it was delicious and we could watch hikers climb up the steep mountain top!

Call Stowe Area Association. They should know the answer or, if not, be able to give you a number to call. Have fun.

The gondola is big enough to put a small collapsible stroller in with a couple of people. Once half way up the mountain (when the gondola stops) you can get out and walk around a bit. The views are awesome, and there is a... More
