We stopped by for a quick visit while passing through town. This is a small chapel dedicated to man's best friends. There is also a small art gallery next door. The visit is free and well worth the stop.

Our family brought our two new pups here and LOVED it. We will definitely be back! It was so amazing to see a chapel completely devoted to dogs.

If you are a dog lover and/or have lost a dog this is the spot to visit and remember. You can leave a note with your dog's name, pray or just read what others have written.

If you are a dog lover you are simply overwhelmed with the notes left on the chapel walls from owners who pets have passed away. Spiritual place for dog lovers! I was moved by emotion.

Do they serve/allow alcohol on site? Might be fun to have a glass of wine with our picnic.

I have no idea about the liquor rules at Dog Mountain. Their website has seemed user friendly so that may be another way to check on their feelings about liquor brought to the park. When I visited in Fall 2015 I know all... More
