On our way to Quebec City we stopped here. Our dog played with another dog in the happiest way. We bought quite a few things from the shop. The grounds are beautiful and the Chapel is full of love - brought out my tears. I left a note there to my favorite pet. We will be back in the future... More

There is not much to do in and around St Johnsbury- but TripAdvisor brought this up and it's only a 10 minute drive, so we headed out. There were a few dogs having a run and we went round the shop - very dog themed but really only 1 artists work on show, so if you're not keen on that... More

A bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip, this place is a dog lovers paradise. Great gift shop, lots of open space for dogs of all stripes to get comfortable.

They have a Memorial Building where people leave memorial messages for their pets which have past away.

Great views of the valley and surrounding area. Fun off leash area and mowed walking paths. Dog chapel was emotionally moving.

Voted #1 in a USA Today's survey for Best Dog Friendly place. The views are awesome but the Dog Chapel is even more amazing.

on a vacation in neighboring NH, my wife discovered Dog Mountain on an internet search...unfortunately we didn't have our beloved canine family member, Jack, with us, but we had to see it. The whole story of how it got started is unique and fascinating...the artwork/crafts/clothing for sale on display in their main shop is amazing (and I believe what supports... More

I believe I reviewed this last year as well, but returning this year, Chester our Goldendoodle remembered being there and was even more excited than before. We visited late at night and wore him out, and then got up and stopped in again on our way to our next destination. He was so happy to be there and cool off... More

Dog mountain and the Dog Chapel are really the same place. Dog mountain is a place to bring your woofer and have him/her run around and make friends with other woofers. They have a field, pond, picnic tables, the Dog Chapel (post-it notes on the wall with messages from other dog owners and an inner chapel to sit and think... More
