Mountain Fiber Folk is the store for a co-op of local farmers that sell the wool products from their sheep and other animals. The woman was very friendly and welcoming, and the small store is full of a variety of products. We had a great time and brought home an alpaca dryer ball!

We came across this store and were so amazed with what we found. The quality of each piece was impeccable and it had the name of the animal that it came from. We were lucky enough to be there during their farm to yarn tour and I was able to visit the sheep that made my hat. So fun!!!

I visited this store in June; I went in on a whim, just to look around. The staff person was really friendly and interesting, and I ended up having a great time looking around and talking with her! She explained the cooperative nature of the store, and told me about the various yarns they sell, much of which is hand... More

Fun to browse but way to expensive unless you have deep pockets and impulse shop! Crafters are happy to chat about their weaves, woods and warps. If you shun super fiber winter clothes for the real deal, you'll want mittens, socks and hats from this shop and can probably buy a ewe for the price. Local honey sold here is... More

This little shop has it all! Crochet friendly, spinners welcomed, knitters' paradise. I would recommend stopping in if you are visiting or staying near-by. The person helping us was kind in answering all questions and very knowledgable on the products. I loved the "color of the month" table--the yarns were SO wonderfully presented. Many felted arts to purchase and supplies.

I visit Fiber Folks about once a week. There is always a friendly face to greet me and a great selection of fibers for crafting as well as beautiful creations by local artists. If I have a question about a project I am working on Fiber Folks is my go to.

We own a small bed and breakfast in montgomery center in Vermont, and we send ALL of our guests to this wonderful shop located right on main street. They have tons of small gifts and souvenirs, all made locally right here in Vermont, and it is a wonderful way to learn about our many small local farmers who raise animals... More
