Hike was well worth it

This hike was a little rough for us beginner hikers but the beauty of falls was well worth the hike.

Other reviews were right. This hike is 4.5 miles round-trip. The first mile is easy, the second mile much more of a workout, but the end is worth it. The weather recently coupled with snow melt made the falls particularly full and spectacular. Muddy and...More

The first mile is an easy climb, the second mile is a moderate climb, and the final half mile is an easy up and down. When you get to the end, you come around a corner and the view of the falls is stunning. The...More

We really enjoy this hike - I wouldn't say it is easy, but it does give you a nice way to experience the Green Mt. Forest. The falls are a nice destination.

I have hiked this trail many times in years gone by, this is the worse I have seen the trailhead. Hurricane Irene took part of the mountain out leaving rough terrain and difficult to negotiate areas. Not an easy hike, must be experienced hiker. Falls...More

Finally decided to take the hike to the falls-was beautiful and well worth it! Snow melt and recent rainstorm contributed to the rapid-flow...not sure you would view the same scene any other time of year. Trail is narrow in spots- and Irene did some damage...More

Considering it's inside a wilderness area it is relatively accessible. If you have 3 or 4 hours you have more then enough time to get up to the falls, explore, and chill. I have been there many times in all seasons. The hike is not...More
