It was nice to be able to walk around to the different well known stores and not be in a mall. Got to see some different facets of the town. don't expect a lot of bargains, though

The varios outlet shops are spread apart in several separate building so you do not generally get the feel of entering a big box store. They vary from the typical generic mall fare, Eddie Bauer, J Crew etc., to more unique stores like Pendleton and Marimekko.

I've lived in Vermont for 12 years... Plain or gourmet pizza is as good as it gets for this transplanted Jersey boy.

The shops are nicely laid out in individual fashion rather than in a big mall - making the shopping experience very friendly and comfortable. We arrived on Boxing Day to find some great discounts on offer, and came away with far more than was on our shopping list. A definite go to place if you are in the shopping mode... More

Great shops and wonderful people. Being here reminds me how life is supposed to be. I highly recommend being in this environment. It is the best that people have to offer.

great town to explore on foot. Must visit the Northshire book store where you can really lose yourself in the selection of books. Also, try the Cafe where they have amazing selection of pastries, soups, etc.

It's fun walking around Manchester's historical "Depot" area and we always stop by Ben & Jerry's first for a cone, then walk the side streets. Robin Lane's designer shop is a highlight as well as Al Duchi's and we enjoy looking at the Turkish antiques at "Depot 62". Later, we have dinner inside or out at the famous Depot Cafe.... More

Manchester Depot is a special little area only a block off the beaten track and well worth finding. Al Ducci's Italian Pantry is a source of wonderful, authentic Italian ingredients and prepared foods. Simple Nest ( usually open only on Th, Fr and Sat) carries an eclectic mix of shabby chic and cutting edge design ---you can find unique items... More
