This is not what I would call a hike. You park and walk a minute and thirty seconds along a wooden walkway to the falls. Nice, relaxing but not a hike. In and out in 15 minutes.

The walk to the first viewing platform (1/4 mile with incline at the end) is very easy. We did it with a stroller. Going beyond that is more of a scramble but really fun. 3 year old and agile 70 year old both made it...More

Arriving to Killington e stopped at the waterfall. Very easy to find and access, and a good way to stretch the legs after a day of driving.

What a beautiful attraction in Killington, Vermont. The .3 mile trail to it is extremely well maintained and I would believe even a disabled person could follow the man made trail as there are pull-off points for such reasons. Easy walk and fun to do....More

This is a very short hike--downhill the whole way on the way to the falls. It can be a bit muddy though so don't wear good/white shoes! Wouldn't suggest you hike it in flip flops either--sturdy adventure type sandals would be ok.

Stopped by the waterfall after a rainy day driving to Vermont. Its an easy ride from Killington Access road. A fairly short hike on a boardwalk, then a short hike on a dirt path to the falls. Awesome walkway to get a photo opportunity! Cool...More

A very easy walk across a marsh to the foot of the falls at the base of a pine forest. Climbing up to the top is a bit steep but worth the views, smells and sounds along the way. Sunlight filters down like magic and...More

This was a nice trail with a boardwalk. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the falls. They were bigger than we expected. It's definitely worth a quick stop if you are in the neighborhood.

The trail is mostly wooden planks with a packed soil near the falls area. It's maybe 1/4 mi. The falls were LOUD and impressive.

We went to the thundering falls in July of 2017. It was a lot of fun! Very easy walk up to the falls. It is paved the whole way with plastic decking - about 360 yards into the woods. It had rained the night before,...More

Thanks Wayne179, we visited the Falls in Oct and the water level was pretty low... so yes, Spring following the snow melt would be much more impressive...

Alternatively, the address may be: 2295 River Rd, Killington, VT 05751. Again, put it into Google Maps first before trying to drive there. Check out the satellite view and you should be able to see the parking area and the... More
