Appalachian Trail Adventures is a hiking spa that provides daily guided hikes, caving and kayaking throughout the Green Mountains of Vermont for adventurist of all abilities on the Appalachian Trail. ATA's all inclusive Hiking Vacation consists of an air conditioned room with three daily meals, snacks, guided novice, intermediate or advanced hike and afternoon kayaking, caving or an excursion. ATA also provides daily customized group or private guided hikes, kayaking and caving throughout the Green Mountains of Vermont for hikers of all abilities. With over 20 years of experience, we have chosen trails with the best scenic mountain vistas, waterfalls, historical features and lakes. In the fall, we offer some of the most spectacular foliage hiking in New England.

Took my staff for a corporate retreat and was blown away by the enchanted hiking and kayaking experience in Killington. The staff at ATA are laid back and friendly and willing to cater the adventure to your needs.

We really enjoyed our recent hiking trip to Vermont. John Keough and the guides at Appalachian Trail Adventures lead wonderful hikes in Killington. It was great fun to spend some time hiking on the beautiful Appalachian Trail.

Hiking & Kayaking ! you could not ask for better guides then John & Michelle, they knew the area, the mountains and all the great places to take us. The views were amazing. We will definitely return.

Hello Daniel, There sure is.. we hike with kids of that age regularly. It just depends how long of hike you prefer, I try to male sure the hike gives a "wow" factor to kids to get them excited about hiking. the wow factor... More

Hello Sarah, Its hard saying without meeting you etcetera. However we have a variety of trails of different difficultly so depending on things you could hike with your daughter in tow. I hope this helps. john
