We traveled as a family of 5 and met another family there. It was our first time camping with kids and Maidstone lived up to the excellent reviews. The lake is beautiful and exceptionally clean. We loved hearing the loons at night. There are some...More

We went camping with our 9 year old and 5 year old daughters and had such a great time! Swimming, hiking, campfires, loon sightings, and more! We unplugged from our technology and enjoyed the beautiful nature around us. Great time, quiet campground, friendly staff. The...More

Maidstone State Park is the best way to be off the grid and relax with friends or family. The lake is beautiful and water is very clear. I believe I was told that Maidstone lake is the 2nd cleanest lake in Vermont. The views of...More

Maidstone was great. Our group of five loved the park, which was beautiful and well-maintained. Park Manager Tom Walsh really made our stay there wonderful. The loons were beautiful and swam past our waterfront lean-to on many occasions. Truly a memorable weekend!
