Spring skiing. great mountain, no lines but the lift closed because of wind

Can't help the weather. Our first day was warm with spring skiing conditions. Second day was windy so they has to close the chairlift to the top. Getting from the hotel to the... read more

We went to the Gap Pub Restaurant and had an Ok time. Burke Mountain is excellent and the new hotel is beautiful but as most new things, is going through some growing pains. The Gap Pub has a nice view, outside seating in better weather, and mostly high top tables inside. Servers were very nice. It was very loud during... More

Can't help the weather. Our first day was warm with spring skiing conditions. Second day was windy so they has to close the chairlift to the top. Getting from the hotel to the poma was a big hike in ski boots carrying equipment. Getting from the lower part of the hill to the hotel also required a hike. Making the... More

I want to preface this stating that I did call Leisure resorts to offer some constructive feedback considering I am familiar with a few of their resorts they are currently overseeing. Although they seemed eager for feedback, they have not returned my call. For anyone following the history of this resort, you understand that the resort did not open in... More

Had a few epic powder days up at Burke this year, the resort was in great shape and the staff was really keeping the place ticking.

The hotel has been open 3 months. It is nice but hasn't matured into a well run operation yet. Our first full day did not see any housekeeping service in spite of 2 calls to the front desk and one visit from the desk manager. We did get fresh towels with the managers visit and hollow promises to clean the... More

We love Burke Mountain, but hadn't been there in about 7-8 years. WOW - what a change! Great hotel...beautiful accomodations, well appointed rooms with everything you need for a weekend of skiing. Our party of 4 originally reserved a 1 bedroom suite, figuring the 2 college kids could use the pull out couch and a cot that we brought. While... More

This is a mixed review. Yes, five stars for the resort, despite some problems which I am sure will be ironed out as they get their wings. Let's start from the beginning (a good place to start); The 'new' Burke Hotel & Conference Center is beautiful. A heated parking area melts the snow, a massive revolving door accommodates all of... Let me start with I learned to ski at 39. After the year before I took one lesson and walked down the mountain determined never to ski again. They have great instructors and my favorite is Alan Wing. He has taught my who family to ski. We spend most weekends getting there early and skiing late. We look forward to... More

I love this mountain. Steep, fast runs with a laid back, unpretentious atmosphere all around. People are just out to have a great time. No lift lines ever and lift tickets never over $64 which makes the drive all the more worth it.

A foot of fresh powder and super friendly service made my day. I'm totally sold on the new hotel. Burke won't be best kept secret in Vermont anymore with top notch skiing and now food to match. Torn between the base lodge Hippie Bowl salad and hotel pub She Crab Soup. May need to try both again to pick a... More
