DaVallia is an art boutique with a vintage, modern country flair. Walk into our shop, or browse our collections online and you'll find fine handcrafted arts and crafts with character. Each piece has a story, an identity, and a spirit. Each piece is the unique result of a vision, brought to life by an artist's hand. Couple that special character with a function and you've got art for everyday living.
DaVallia was established in 2009 by artists, Michael & Jessie Alon. Michael creates art furniture and sculpture from reclaimed wood, steel, and concrete. Jessie handcrafts artisan jewelry using sterling silver, terrazzo, and semi-precious stones. Together they hand-pick and curate the works form an additional 50 artist. DaVallia's collection emulates the quality of finer metropolitan galleries while still rejoicing in the inviting, warming Vermont charm. Located in historic Chester, Vermont.

We noticed this shop while driving on Rt 103 and decided to stop in based on the beautiful decor outdoor. Inside, we met Michael, one of the owners of the shop who we found to be very friendly and welcoming, talking about everything from music to art and travel. Compared to other shops we'd been to, this one was the... More

This shop has two locations in Chester one larger in the Chester Stone Village and a smaller shop in town on the green. I have bought something every time I go in. There are many pieces on the rustic side but many are not. The prices are very readonable

Michael and Jessie are incredibly talented (he does the wood, she does the jewelry) and have an amazing eye. Beautiful stores--one in Hester and one on Rt 103. Reasonable prices for special items.

There are two locations. Both have hip sophisticated country items, from furniture to jewelry. Definitely are great find on weekend trip to Vermont. And we bought a few things ... a watch and interesting flower vase. Also, they we're very helpful in recommending good local places to eat ... a couple good places to fly fish.

Devalue now has two locations - a store on the Green in Chester; and a studio at the edge of Stone Village. Both locations have a constantly changing display of jewelry, kitchen wares, ceramics, painting, sculpture and more. Most are hand made by Jesse and Michael. Prices range from below $50 to five figures.

DaVallia is something a bit different. There are 2 premises, one on the Green in Chester, and on route 103 entering Chester, Vermont from the north. It is a combination of their own creations, furniture, sculpture, and jewelry, along with pieces from other area artists. At their newer property on Route 103, the are in the process of creating a...
