Mother Nature dumped an April Fool's gift on Bolton Valley, and Liftopia gave me a $17.99 deal for Sunday, April 2nd for 20 runs in 6 hours. The 9am temperature was 36 degrees, and pulling out of the parking lot at 3:15 it was 44 degrees. There were 3 mountains, 100 percent open as far as I could tell. I... More

Head to the BV Resort for the hands-down best value and great skiing experience in Vermont. The condos and hotel rooms are super clean and we love the ski-in / ski-out to the slopes from the hotel. The BV staff treat you like family and we always get VIP / personal service every time we are at BV. The snowmaking... More

This isn't fancy, and if you hit it at the right time, it doesn't need to be. Rentals were easy, the ski boots are as comfortable - yes, comfortable - as boots can be, you'll get lots of skiing in and staff is friendly. We bought half-day lift tickets on a Tuesday and could have skied until 8pm if we'd... More

We skied at Bolton Valley for 3 days in late February primarily because it was much less expensive than Stowe. I thought it would be less intimidating to the first time skier in our group too. It is all very basic, nothing fancy at all. You can store your shoes in a cubbie and eat your packed lunch at the... More

I went to UVM years ago,but never skied at Bolton Valley.....what a mistake! We're now grandparents and recently had a family ski trip to Bolton and it was fantastic. Great family friendly resort, perfect conditions and budget friendly....we'll be back!

Our son wanted to learn to ski and we selected Bolton Valley based on the reviews. Everyone was super helpful and the check-in process was easy. We had a great day on the slopes, starting out with Karl, a friendly and patient instructor, and then spending a few hours on the slopes . We had so much fun skiing that... More

We bought a Vermont Fifth Grade Passport for our kids. This hill was great. Staff are friendly. Close to Burlington where we stayed. Buying tickets in advance online made it affordable. Being able to ski until 10:00pm made it a great value. It was my son's first time on a snowboard and the small tow lift was the perfect place... More
