This is a great high tech museum. The dinosaurs are beautiful and very life like. They have a children's cave that has a lot for kids to do and see. It even has real bones and labs for the kids to see. It is right on main street close to restaurants and hotels.

Very cute little stop on your way to or from the DNM. There are certainly activities to keep small children occupied for a good 20-30 minutes, after the first room, it is mostly a walk and look type of museum. Really well done dinosaur museum. So much to see and learn as you travel through time at the museum. Lots of extra hands on for all ages and wonderful display outside of the large dinosaurs. Highly recommend spending time there.

Great place to visit to understand the history of the area especially as it relates to the period when dinosaurs roamed the area. Great exhibits with dinosaur skeletons to better appreciate these reptiles. Very informative and interesting. I would highly recommend a visit, even if you don't have a lot of time.

The museum helps you understand all the different geologic formations. There is a naturalist on site that is friendly and full of information. Worth a visit.

Vernal prides itself for the dinosaur quarry located a few short miles of town. The field house is was built about 10 years ago and is a huge upgrade from the older and outdated former building. There is an interesting video that shows how plant fossils are found. There is also a huge sauropod on the main floor rotunda. In... More
