Southgate is a great course for those looking for an enjoyable round of golf as opposed to a brutal test of your skills. Southgate also features a game improvement center with award-winning PGA professionals and instruction programs.A great walking course, the front nine requires accuracy to sucessfully negotiate the waterways. Eight out of the nine holes on the front nine feature either a lake or the Santa Clara River as scenic challenges to par. The back 9, slightly longer than the front nine, adds the element of risk and reward which allows the player to recover shots lost on the front nine. Southgate Golf Club is a par-70 layout which is enjoyable for all levels of ability.

Course was in very good condition. Plenty of water and great views. Cost was $47 with cart. Fairly flat with a few long grades included but much distance between some holes so walking might be an extra 3/4 mile or so. I would come here...More

This course is pretty good one to play all year. The fairways were nice, greens a little bumpy and could use some work. Price is good at this time if year, but it is hot. Early tee times a must for comfort. Complaint I had...More

Played this one on a Friday morning - nice little municipal course. Nothing too special, but some interesting holes and a reasonable price. Would suggest playing it as a warm-up course before playing some of the more expensive (and more challenging) courses in the area.

golfed here with some friends and had a good time. The location isn't great as the front nine border main roads most of the time. The back nine is narrow with the potential to hit lots of homes. Felt like there were a lot of...More

Challenging course with lots of houses with windows to potentially hit! A few too many par 3 holes but I would most definitely play here again. Staff was friendly. Not too good of a snack bar.

I am a member at Entrada at Snow Canyon, played Southgate for the first time last week from the tips. Very impressed with conditioning, layout and playability. Yes you might get lost transiting over the and under bridges on the front nine but no big...More

The course is beautiful and reasonable but not clearly marked at all. At least twice you leave the course and cross a Main Street. Neither time are signs posted as to where to go. You actually have to drive down the street to get to...More

I hadn't played Southgate since they made the changes brought on by the Dixie interchange, and was pleasantly surprised by both the excellent conditions and the course changes. White tee's play a little short, so try the blues or go crazy and play the back...More

White Buffalo (my brother), plays a vicious hook, and the contortions that his body makes in delivering the golf club to the ball must have worried the clubhouse staff concerning his safety and/or the safety of the other golfer on the course, because after the...More
