The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful setting for an artist's enclave! Good artists too! Mother Nature's art is a great complement to the community. I will go back!

Like most of the mountains and canyons around St George Utah it is unique. The shops are mostly art. If you want to decorate with a Western motif it is a great place to shop.

Looking for a unexpected brunch or lunch location! Try Xetava Gardens Cafe, Breakfast menu got our eye with the blue-corn gluten-free waffles- they're topped with peanut butter, fresh berries, and whipped cream, and taste phenomenal! The Bo-rrito, packed with eggs, bacon, ham, mushrooms, potatoes, and...More

The art galleries were very unique and the artists were very engaging. We purchased several pieces, and thought about several more. The restaurant was also a great experience. If you are in St George, it is a must-see area to the west of the city.

This is a beautiful drive out in the desert with awesome vistas of the red mountains. Be sure to take plenty of water and good hiking shoes.

We went out before sunrise to visit the labyrinth. Stunning red rocks and peaceful way to wake up to a new day. The restaurant and galleries were not open so I can not review those. we enjoyed the beautiful grounds of the village

The area is a great wonder of the rock formations, normally a rock is a rock but these are beautiful.

I don't think there are bike rentals in the immediate Kayenta, as it is mostly a unique residential community with a great Artist colony.

Are there bike rentals and trails? If so, do you have trail maps and rental prices? Are there bike trails to Kauenta?

There are a lot of bike trails all over the area, but none right by Kayenta. Kayenta is a residential community that blends into the desert with southwestern style homes. Red Rock Bikes (redrockbicycle. com) rents, sales... More
