Guardsman Pass is great for a scenic drive and to also get away from some of the busier places. It is absolutely gorgeous in the Fall to see the leaves changing color. Great for hiking, biking, or just a leisurely drive.

I went to Utah for the first time in October - a great time to visit - the view from Guardsman was amazing - take this trip before the snows close the pass for the winter.

If you are in the Park City area, you must take an hour and drive up to Guardsman Pass. Now as I write this, we have had a number of feet of snow in the last few days. GREAT for skiing and the holidays. So, I recommend this drive the other three seasons of the year. I was here this... More

I've driven this scenic backway a number of times in the autumn to see the changing colors of the leaves. It's beautiful and definitely worth the time. No matter if you're a city-dweller looking for a way out of the city or if you're an out-of-towner looking to see the great outdoors that Utah has to offer, you're bound to... More

This is a beautifully scenic drive between Park City and Brighton/Solitude. At the top of the pass, there's a small parking area, where you can stop to enjoy the views or take a little hike. You can also climb a few hundred yards up to the top of Jupiter Bowl, and get a great view looking down across the Park... More

We were so lucky to visit here in October when the leaves were changing. I can't think of enough descriptive words to express how beautiful this ride is. We spent the day and took our time and stopped whenever and wherever we wanted. If you are in this area, please make time to drive through Guardsman Pass.

If u go to park city, u MUST drive the Guardsman Pass over to Heber Valley (other parts of the pass were closed when we were there)! Crazy switch backs, beautiful birch forests, stunning mountain neighborhoods to explore, pull-offs for pictures & hiking...the drive from Main Street to heber valley takes 30-45 minutes..not much in heber valley, but another town...
