I've cat skied 4 times, this being my 2nd time with this outfit. Every cat operation in 3 states that I've skied with had excellent friendly guides. The key to cat skiing is having it snow a lot in the days prior to your booking. It's a gamble that paid off for us at the end of Feb 2017. It... More

When you've skied all the resorts and are looking for something new, the Uinta Mountian back country is a great option. This is not extreme skiing, but it is extremely beautiful, extremely well organized and pretty safe. It's about equal parts luxury and adventure. A similar experience to heli-skiing but a fraction of the cost and much less likely to... More

This is a great operation. We had pow runs all day despite being 6 days after the last storm. Be sure you have your powder legs and fat skis on---this is not for the powder newbie!! Awesome guides and facilities. Great people run this awesome gig!

You will never want to ski at a ski resort again after having a whole mountain range to ski and never having to cross another ski track all day. I actually got there on a day (listen to this) that the guides said there is almost too much snow today. The snowcats pick you up at the bottom of each... More

I just spent an incredible day with Park City Powder Cats. I have skied all over the world and would rank PC Powder Cats as one of my best skiing experiences. The terrain is varied with steep open fields and Aspen glade skiing. We skied there 4 days after a storm and made fresh tracks all day. We had a... More

This is my third CAT trip I have been on. The others were in BC and Montana. By far this was the best skiing. If you like BIG open bowls this is where you want to be. There is some low angle tree runs as you ski/board out but the upper sections are wide open bowls. The boarding was phenomenal!... More

When my SLC-based friend invited me to fly in for a day of snowcat skiing with a group of his friends, I didn't need much convincing....I had previously tried the snowcat skiing out of Snowbird, as well as the heli skiing from Wasatch Powder Birds ( and CMH) , but had never heard of PC Powder Cats. I went in... More

Hands down the best cat experience. Solid crew, solid skiing, had to look for the goods. But the guides knew exactly where to take our group of 12. Must do ski/snowboard experience.

To everyone who wants to ski fresh dry powder, this is a great place to go. You go up in the Cats with two guides, one tests the terrain to make sure its safe and then one goes after everyone in the group. The guides are awesome, very nice, professional service and friendly. The place is great, its a 42,000... More

PC Powder Cats is a great operation...knowledgeable and friendly guides, beautiful ranch setting, comfortable cats and good breakfast/lunch/snacks. We were lucky enough to be able to go soon after a storm, so conditions were great (and apparently the guides can usually find good snow weeks after a storm). With that said, here are the reasons why I only gave it... More
