This is not an easy trail by any means. I would say it is in the moderate range. You will be walking/hiking uphill the entire time. Some of the terrain is very steep and will challenge you. This is a very busy trail with many people, and many pets. Some narrow spots create a challenge when meeting people on the... More

This will give you and your family a good work out, but you will so enjoy the journey. Bring walking sticks and water is a good idea. Lots to see, water to cross over, bridges, I love bringing my dog as she seems to enjoy the climb also. Shady spots, some sunny spots a good mix. Most folks are friendly... More

Going up this trail has views of the surrounding area such as Roy, Ogden, Clearfield, and North Ogden. During the fall the leaves are shades of red orange and yellow.

I am overweight and love hiking but i definitely think i should had taken my time getting to the top, my legs felt like jello by the time i finished. Yes i... More

We have hiked waterfall many times. It is family and pet friendly - at least for older kids. We have seen little ones on it - but becuase of the rocky scramble towards the end I'm not sure I would take little ones. The waterfall is especially beautiful in the winter when iced over... But the trail is slick and... More

A great morning hike to Ogden's most picturesque falls. It does take a little work because of the borders but many families come to enjoy the site. It is just one of the many beautiful sights along the 75 miles of the Ogden Trail System. But making the climb and taking a little time to soak up the beauty of... More

The climb is strenuous and in the summer should be experienced in the early morning to avoid the heat. The trail is also missing a few markers but other hikers will point the way. Take water to avoid dehydration and wear good walking shoes. Was a nice time considering the heat. More water would have been nice but a cute... More

This is a hike, not a walk, but it is not difficult if you are in "hiking condition". It is great for families as long as the children are old enough or you are willing to carry them.

We had so much fun on this trail. It was a busy trail with lots of people, dogs, and kids! My kids loved playing in the water once we found the waterfall. We brought squirt lasers with us and the kids loved squirting all the trees and plants with water. It was gorgeous and on the way down we picked... More

This can be a challenging hike if you're out of shape or not an avid hiker. I am by far not an avid hiker, I needed to use my inhaler during this hike but I made it to the waterfall! The waterfall is beautiful, well worth going slow if you need to.
