For 50 years this stately and historic depot served as a major hub for transcontinental rail service. Today, it remains a monument to grand rail stations of the early 20th-century and includes four museums: the Utah State Railroad Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Browning Kimball Car Museum and the Browning Firearms Museum.

Good old time museum with full size trains outside and an extensive museum inside explaining the building and challenges of building the cross country Railroad System. Also inside are the Browning Gun museum, A Rodeo museum, and an Art Gallery.

Wonderful museum! Historic trains, firearms, rodeo and cars! Also, a changing art exhibit. Just to sit in the main concourse and imagine the building in it's heyday!

Husband is a train buff. I love horses and rodeo. Our 11 year old daughter thought the place was pretty cool. The trains parked outside were impressive. The displays were interesting. We stayed for a couple of hours. Only a 5 dollar donation per person.

Our family especially enjoyed the automobile museum. All of their cars are are pristine restorations or pristine originals. Not a whole lot of cars but unusual examples. Each of the museums is smaller in scale than most freestanding single museums but is an interesting mix...More
