Horseback in Monument Valley- great time

We took a two hour ride with Lionel. We told him we just wanted to take it slow and that's exactly what he did.

There are no bigger tenderfeet than my wife and I. Didn't matter. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after and always felt comfortable. As novices, we booked the one hour tour - and that is fine. Our guide was both knowledgeable and VERY patient. The view was of course spectacular. And it was great fun!.

Our jeep tour (Sacred Monument Jeep Tour) was awesome. Keevin did a great job showing us around and giving us a sense of what Monument Valley means to him and to his Nation. Given the windy weather we encountered, we were glad to be riding in a comfortable 4WD Jeep and in expect hands! (Note: It was actually by chance... More

As an experienced horse rider I was dubious about being able to find a place that would be able to cater for more than just beginners, but this place totally exceeded my expectations! In fact, we loved it so much, that we went back again the next day to do a ride at sunrise too. Mita was a great guide... More

We took the 1.5 hour Scenic Express tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. While you can drive most of the trail that we took (but not all, some is reserved for guided tours) the information that our driver passed on enhanced our enjoyment but it was the scenery that stole the show. Well worth while.

YES! I traveled with my daughter and this was our dream having watched John Wayne films with her when she was little. Now she is 30, owns her own horse and can ride - I however have never been on a horse for longer than an hour when I was younger. So this was a dream that a Dad wanted... More

I'll admit I was a bit skittish when my partner booked a horseback tour in beautiful Monument Valley. I had driven the 17-mile scenic drive 25 years earlier and was impressed then, but I agreed with her that the real way to see this place was with a guide and not through a windshield. I hadn't been on a horse... More

The experience was a bucket list for me and their pricing was in line with other. Unfortunately their horses are completely worn out. I have horses in Kentucky and none of my animals would very be in that kind of condition. But the experience and the ability to ride in the valley where 100's of Westerns were shot. And as... More

We were attracted by the yellow Jeeps on the parking lot of the View hotel and decided to use this group. Our guide, Leroy, was superb and the visit highlight occurred when he played the flute and sung for us in a natural amphiteather. He shared his passion for the land and gave us great insight on the local culture... More

We stumbled across Sacred Monument Tours in the View Hotel parking lot, and we found the tour prices comparable to other tour operators in the lot. We booked a nearly 3-hour tour, sight unseen, with this yellow jeep company, and we were not disappointed. From start to finish the driver, Karna, gave us insight into the Navajo culture and life...
