This was a great tour led by our knowledgeable Navajo guide. A super opportunity to take up close photos of the sandstone buttes and mesa created millions of years ago.

Rode in an open-air truck, on padded benches under a shade. Driver was a Navajo man named Jones who was personable and knowledgeable about his culture. The ride was very bumpy at times because the roads are paths in some places, rough rocks in others....More

The ride is a bit bumpy at points especially at the beginning. We took the sunset tour. Margie was a great tour guide and we got to see and hear about interesting facts about the Navaho and the area.

We are booked on the 6 hour tour with Sandstone in September. We will be travelling up from Sedona and staying in Kayenta - do we need to adjust our watches for 1 hour forward as I have read there is a time zone difference in Monument Valley ? We have a tour booked for 8.00am
