This loop should make everyone’s top 10 lifetime hikes. The 6 mile loop is challenging yet inviting. My wife and I are fit 70 year olds that love the outdoors. The trail offers awesome views with some scrambling as well as some “hunting for cairns”....More

Wow! If at all possible, hike the Chesler Park Loop when visiting the Needles District. Start early, have good maps, and bring lots of water... you'll be glad you did. This is a beautiful hike that is also exhilarating, but be prepared.

Amazing scenery, well marked trail with some interesting features such as a 100-feet walk through a very narrow passageway between two immense boulders. Very hot.

This hike was arduous in length and required some technical hike/climbing but nothing that most fit humans couldn’t do. We had 2 women over 65 that managed just fine with minimal assistance. I loved how the landscape changed and the vistas just morphed into more...More
