Interesting little museum and worth a visit if you've got a bit of time to kill.Not a great deal to see ,half an hour should suffice.

you would think they would want to try and talk to visitors and be friendly, the lady was kind of rude and said she didn't associate with the locals when I tried to ask her some questions,

...desk staff one weekday when we called. Coffee, biscuits and plently of advice. Really good bookshop, maps etc. Plus spotless toilet facilities. Monticello may be a dump, but this place is a great asset to the community. Museum is missable,
