Mid June but still had snow on the ground at the top. Mirror Lake is a must see. Take it slow and enjoy all the great scenery.

The Mirror Lake Byway is a beautiful drive through the Uinta range, a unique mountain range that runs East/West instead of the normal North/South. The byway goes from near Kamas Utah to Evanston WY. Much of it runs along the Upper Provo River whose flow...More

This drive is one of the preeminent scenic drives in all of the Rocky Mountains. Along with Independence Pass in Colorado, and the John D. Rockefeller Parkway along the base of the Tetons, Mirror Lake Highway is what the Rockies are all about!

This is the drive for you if you love beautiful scenery, lakes, streams, waterfalls and mountains. Took the drive on a cold autumn day and loved every minute of it.

Wish we had taken more time to explore the lakes and falls and other places along this byway. Definitely worth stretching a short drive out into a days worth of play.
