This is the drive for you if you love beautiful scenery, lakes, streams, waterfalls and mountains. Took the drive on a cold autumn day and loved every minute of it.

Wish we had taken more time to explore the lakes and falls and other places along this byway. Definitely worth stretching a short drive out into a days worth of play.

Took a quick drive to this store. Bought some fantastic smoked cheese and a child's book. Always like stopping here. Take time to enjoy this gem.

This area is amazing. There are tons of lakes, streams, and hikes. However, it was packed with people. Every parking lot, campground, and lake was completely full.

Lakes, peaks, falls, and hiking. This drive demands an all day allocation of time. Better yet, find a great campground from among the many incredible sites and make a long weekend of it.

I try to make it up the Mirror Lake highway at least twice a year. It has to be one of the most Gorgeous scenic routes. Camping is also a must. Campground or high mountain.
